The Eastern Pennsylvania Knife Collectors Association 2012 Knife Show will be held on March 17, 2012 at the Plainfield Township Fire Co. Social Hall in Wind Gap, PA.

Saturday, March 19, 2011, marks the third year at our new show location at the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Company in Wind Gap, PA. Full show details are located on our show page.

The 2010 show had a great turnout, with no bad weather or highway detours, which we took as a good sign for the show’s future in Wind Gap.

Our Wind Gap location gives us much more room to expand than we had at the old location in Schnecksville, PA. And now that we’ve had two years to work out any minor bugs, we want to open this show up to even more people.

That’s where you come in.

If you know knife dealers who live within 2-3 hours of Wind Gap, please encourage them to visit our website and contact us about taking a vendor table or two. We’ve kept our table fees low to encourage more dealers to set up.

Of course, tell EVERYONE you know who likes knives that they MUST be at this show. Hit the gun shows on Sunday. We’ll have far more knives than they will, anyway

And feel free to print out copies of our show flyer and hand them out to your friends or post them in your local gun shops, sporting goods shops, and flea markets. Here is an Adobe Acrobat PDF version you can print.

Our 2010 Knife Show is less than 3 weeks away and we’d like your help to get the word out.

Fate hasn’t been kind to our past two shows. Last year a chemical spill of hydrofluoric acid on Route 33 outside Wind Gap forced all major highways leading into Wind Gap to be closed, making it nearly impossible for many guests and vendors to get to the fire hall. The show went on, but with far fewer guests than we would have had otherwise. Bargains were definitely had that day!

Our previous show in 2007 was held during a snowstorm that dumped well over a foot of snow. Again, the show went on, but crowds were NOT a problem.

So this year we’d like to ask you to help spread the word. Take a buddy or two to the show with you. And spread the word on the forums and knife boards. Get all the show details here.

Due to the September meeting falling on Labor Day, the club has moved September’s meeting to Tuesday, September 8 at 7PM.
